Alice in Wonderland rings by H.Stern

Alice in Wonderland  released a few months ago, generated the creation of various collectibles. The H.Stern Collection of sculpture-rings reflects fantastic creatures from Tim Burton’s film and includes a cat that glows in the dark. Moving away from the obvious and well known characters of the story, they chose natural elements and spectacular creatures from Wonderland to give shape to ten rings, pieces of art.

Available in two sizes: Extraordinary and Human dimension

Remix of microphone as light fixture by Re-Surface

RE-SURFACE produces a range of hand-crafted lighting and interior décor objects with art at heart, and design in mind.

I just like their SOLO re-mix of the classic microphone as light fixture to create a nice atmosphere or to hang above a MetroFarm DJ table for reading disc labels.

Recycled designer bags by Matières à réflexion

Since 2002, Matières à réflexion proudly presents its collections of vintage-based designer bags. Each bag is hand-made and numbered in their Paris studio from carefully selected vintage jackets, safe-keeping the original vintage details. You can also commission your own unique piece and bring your own or select the vintage leather jacket.

Even if the idea of recycling is très a la mode, it doesn’t mean recycled fashion always hits the mark. Well, in that case, I think it did and will..

Kiehl’s Earth Day Initiative

Jeff Koons, Julianne Moore, Pharrell Williams and Malia Jones designed some limited-edition labels for Kiehl in honor of Earth Day. For the second year, the brand has asked four tastemakers to reimagine the labels for its popular — Açaí Damage-Protecting Toning Mist – certified organic by Ecocert— to benefit the Rainforest Alliance.

Nixon X Gumball 3000 Watch

Now that the sun is settling, I can show my wrist more than ever… and I wouldn’t go out without a decent watch on.  My plan is to start with dark pieces and gradually move to colourful timekeepers. (according to my tan and if I can get one in London)

First in mind is the Nixon Gumball 3000 with a black Rubber Player featuring a custom gold caseback, crown and hands. It also features co-branded artwork on the case. Available exclusively at Nixon retailers along the rally route in London, Amsterdam, Boston, Montreal, Toronto and New York City beginning May 1st.
