Eastpak Backpack by Christopher Shannon

This is a backpack, but not the kind you usually see. For one, This is in a so-loud-it’s-deafening white and it’s made from PVC. To put it simply, this is one for those who don’t want to be too loud but still stylish enough to be noticable… White is the new Black..

By the way a great gift for Father’s Day.

And you get a free complimentary pouch, the POD.

Marseille liquid soap in limited editions by Companie de Provence

‘Compagnie de Provence’ is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a limited edition desigh by a local artist. The collection of 3 items uses the brand’s iconic bottle with designs inspired by the renowned port of Marseille. Each bottle is filled with a fresh, sea-inspired fragrance of liquid Marseille soap, made in the traditional fashion from vegetable oils.

No need to say that my favorite one is the boisterous tattooed sailor…

‘Beaded Edition’ sunglasses by Mosley Tribes

Mosley Tribes presents a beautiful special release of their Lyndel frame. The Beaded Edition comes with great hand-crafted details. Patterned after Native American hand woven blankets, both temples on the black Lyndel are individually hand laid using brightly colored ceramic beads.

Yes, I have to admit I have a thing for any ethnical inspired items…

The sunglasses will be released in very limited quantities in July 2010 at Oliver Peoples boutiques in Soho and Sunset Plaza, as well as select retailers.

This is just a great initiative marrying design and recycling.

Wallpapered furniture by Bryonie Porter

Loving this idea of wallpapering furniture.

Bryonie Porter creates these beautiful papered pieces using wallpaper on antique and modern furniture. Using a water-based (environmentally friendly high gloss laquer) she transforms sometimes humdrum pieces into stunning works of art.

Wallpaper used on this pic is by Timorous Beasties, a studio I have already blogged about a while back.

Lagerfeld Cola

Here is a sneak preview of the collaboration of Karl Lagerfeld and Coca-Cola. A display was recently installed at Galeries Lafayette, which along with Colette, will sell a limited-edition, boxed version of the bottle, complete with a matching opener.

The Coca-Cola Light’s new ads were shot by none other than Karl Lagerfeld and feature Coco Rocha and Baptiste Giabiconi.

Yummy and stylish?!
